Do you want to bring your images to life? With VideoHQ.ai’s Image to Video feature, you can easily animate your generated or uploaded images into dynamic scenes using natural language prompts. Here’s how to do it on the web.
Option 1: Convert from Your Asset Library
- Go to your Assets tab.
- Locate a previously generated image — for example, a handsome Nigerian man sitting on a chair in his room.
- Click on the image to reveal more options.
- Select Convert to Video.
A prompt field will appear. Type what you want the character in the image to do — e.g.,
“He grabs his keys and stands up.”
Choose your video model:
- V1 Model: Manually select video size and quality.
- V2 Model: Skip manual settings — smarter, more expressive, and easy to use.
Click Generate Video. Your animation will start rendering and appear in your timeline when ready (within ~3 minutes).
Option 2: Start from “Create with AI”
- Click on Create with AI in the sidebar.
- Select Image to Video.
- Your image gallery will load. Use the search or filter options to find the image.
- Click Preview to confirm it’s the right one.
- Select the image and input your scene prompt — e.g.,
“He came down from the bicycle.”
- Choose between V1 and V2 models, as explained earlier.
- Click Generate Video to create your animated clip.

After rendering, your video will appear like this;
